CLEARFIELD – A news report on Gant partner WJAC-TV’s Web site is indicatedin high corn prices to blame for the temporary shutdown of a local ethanol plant

According to the story, Bionol officials said the plant closes for a week at least twice a year for routine cleaning and maintenance, but this shutdown has been extended due to record high corn prices and a shortage of supplies in the Midwest.
