- The investigation is ongoing into an incident of access device fraud that occurred sometime between 6 p.m. May 16 and 12 p.m. May 25 along the Philipsburg – Bigler Highway in Boggs Township, Clearfield County. A known 16-year-old West Decatur female allegedly used a West Decatur couple’s credit card without their permission to make payments on a cellular phone bill. The bill totaled $50.70 over the past month of May.
- An investigated was initiated into an incident of theft by unlawful taking that occurred sometime between 6 p.m. May 25 and 11 a.m. May 28 along Sportsman Road in Cooper Township, Clearfield County. A person(s) reportedly removed a charcoal gray Honeywell safe from a 14-year-old Winburne boy’s bedroom, which contained approximately $685 in cash, a $50 bond and three pocket knives. The safe is worth $50, while the knives are worth approximately $10 each. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Clearfield-based state police at 814-857-3800.
- An incident of harassment was investigated at 10:30 p.m. May 28 in Houtzdale Borough, Clearfield County. An 18-year-old Houtzdale female and a 34-year-old Houtzdale man subjected each other to physical contact. Charges have been filed against both for harassment.
- At 10:40 p.m. May 28, an investigation was initiated into an incident of simple assault that occurred in the Alley Popper parking lot in Woodward Township, Clearfield County. Two Houtzdale adults were reportedly assaulted by persons who are known. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Clearfield-based state police at 814-857-3800.
- During a May 28 Checkpoint Strike Force Initiative, the Clearfield-based state police reported two driving under the influence arrests as well as 12 traffic arrests, eight written warnings for traffic offenses, one fleeing and eluding and one public drunkenness.
