CLEARFIELD – Motorists will encounter lane restrictions and possible travel delays on Interstate 80 this upcoming week in Clearfield County as bridgework continues.
Drivers should be aware of lane restrictions and potential delays at the following locations:
• Mile marker 102 eastbound and westbound in Sandy Township. Right (travel) lane will be closed as bridge repair work takes place on the Route 4015 (Sher de Lin Road) bridge that spans I-80. Route 4015 may have short lane closures on the bridge. Minimal delays anticipated.
• Mile marker 116 eastbound in Lawrence Township. Right (travel) lane will be closed as bridge repair work takes place on the Route 1015 (Flegal Road) bridge that spans I-80. Route 1015 may have short lane closures on the bridge. Minimal delays anticipated.
PennDOT will issue traffic updates as work zone locations change. All work is weather and schedule dependent. Swank Associated Companies is the contractor on this $1.9 million bridge preservation project.
Drivers are reminded to obey posted speed limits, use caution in construction zones, and always buckle up. PennDOT reminds motorists they can log on to 511pa.com or call 511 from any phone to check traffic conditions before heading out.
