CRC Taking Entries for GenOn Energy Boat Regatta

CLEARFIELD – Start your construction now! The CRC presents the GenOn Energy “Anything that Floats” Boat Regatta on the Susquehanna River! It is up to you to design and construct a vessel, using appropriate material, which you hope will make it across the finish line. 

WHERE/WHEN: The race is from Upper Witmer Park to Lower Witmer Park held on Saturday, June 18th at 1pm. 

PRIZES: The 1st place winner receives $150 in Chamber Checks, 2nd place $75, and $75 also to the Most Creative Theme.

EARLY REGISTRATION:

NON-CORPORATE SPONSORS: $40/vessel through June 10th

CORPORATE SPONSORS: $100/vessel + each person on the team will receive a free Clearfield All-America City T-Shirt through June 10th

LATE REGISTRATION:

NON-CORPORATE SPONSORS: $50/vessel through June 18th

CORPORATE SPONSORS: $125/vessel + each person on the team will receive a free Clearfield All-America City T-Shirt through June 18th

Anyone under the age of 18 must have a parent’s signature to participate. Just remember you must have a life jacket. All boats must be human powered and in your construction cannot include a kayak, canoe or a peddle-boat.  The event will take place rain or shine.  Please see official rules & registration by either printing the attached .pdf document, or call the CRC office at 765-6000.
