CURWENSVILLE – A man accused of tattoing a minor without the teen’s parents’ permission waived his right to a preliminary hearing on Wednesday.
Kyle Veidheffer faces charges of corruption of minors and tattoing minor.
According to the affidavit of probable cause, police were contacted by the alleged victim’s mother about her 16-year-old son having tattoos. She told police that her son had two tattoos; one on his right bicep and the other on his ribcage, right side. She stated he did not have permission from her or her husband and that she was angry someone would do with without their permission. She also told police that he son told her Veidheffer was the one who gave him the tattoos.
Police spoke with the teenager and observed the tattoos. He was said he got them from Veidheffer and paid $20 for one and $40 for the other.
Police then spoke with Veidheffer, who admitted to tattooing the teenager. He said the boy told him his parents were “cool with it.”
