BROCKPORT – State police in Ridgway are investigating the death of a Brockport man as well as an arson where the man was located.
According to police, the incident occurred on Rattlesnake Road. Police stated that it appears the 56-year-old man, intentionlly started a fire on the upper floor of his residence shortly before shooting himself. While the investigation is ongoing, police said that no suspicious circumstances exist.
Damage from the fire is estimated at $50,000
