CLEARFIELD – An Elk County roadway improvement project on Route 120 that began last year will restart on Monday, April 11. The work zone is located on Route 120, stretching east for four miles from Ridgway toward Saint Marys.
Crews will be moving equipment and materials this week. Work will then begin on drainage upgrades, tree trimming, guide rail replacement and paving. All work will be performed during daylight hours and drivers may encounter flaggers on the roadway.
Glenn O. Hawbaker Inc. of State College is the contractor on this $3 million project. PennDOT expects to finish the project by September.
