Helen S. Smith, 89 of Windy Hill Village, Philipsburg, and formerly of Chester Hill, passed away on March 28, 2011 at Windy Hill Village.
Born March 17, 1922 in Philipsburg, she was the daughter of the late Emery Steele & Wynoma Ethel (Eboch) Stonebraker.
She is survived by :

Barbara Ann Wilson of State College, PA
Two grandsons:
Daniel Wilson of Petersburg
Thomas Wilson and wife Teresa of Howard
Three great-grandchildren:
Seth, Delany, Hunter
She was the last of her generation.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Gladys Maxine Knapper and Dorothy Rothrock.
She was a 1940 graduate of Philipsburg High School. She retired in 1984 from Penn State University and then worked at BiLo and Wal-Mart. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Philipsburg.
There will be no public visitation.
Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Philipsburg Cemetery.
