- Police reported an alcohol-related accident at 7:40 p.m. Saturday on Shiloh Road in Bradford Township, Clearfield County. A 53-year-old Bigler man was traveling south, when his vehicle crossed the roadway. His vehicle subsequently left and re-entered the roadway, crossing back across both lanes. His vehicle overturned and came to a rest of the western berm, facing north. He was found to be under the influence of alcohol and transported to the Clearfield Hospital for a legal blood draw. The man refused the test; charges will be filed.
- Police reported an incident of burglary that occurred sometime between 12:01 a.m. Dec. 10, 2010 and 12 a.m. Friday at a camp along Sugar Hill in Greenwood Township, Clearfield County. A person(s) allegedly broke into a 37-year-old New Holland man’s camp and removed a log splitting mull, bow saw, cordless spotlight, a plug-in spotlight, a Gabriel hoist, a Cabela’s Big Game Scale Remington ladder stand, a Motorola cordless radio and binoculars.
- Police reported an incident of burglary that occurred at a camp along Blue Bird sometime between 12:01 a.m. Dec. 26, 2010 and 12 a.m. Saturday in Penn Township, Clearfield County. A person(s) allegedly broke into a 36-year-old Clearfield woman’s camp and removed a dart board, binoculars and a television digital converter.
- Police reported an incident of driving under the influence at 4:32 p.m. Saturday on Winburne Road in Cooper Township, Clearfield County. A 27-year-old Morrisdale man was stopped for an equipment violation. When troopers spoke with the man, it was determined that he was under the influence of alcohol. He was taken for a legal blood draw; charges are to be filed upon the receipt of test results.
- Police reported possession of weapon on school property at approximately 10 a.m. Friday at the Moshannon Valley High School in Bigler Township, Clearfield County. A known 18-year-old Houtzdale male took a knife to school. Charges are pending at the district court, Houtzdale.
- Police reported an incident of criminal mischief that occurred sometime between 9 p.m. Thursday and 8 a.m. Saturday on Main Street in Coalport Borough, Clearfield County. Someone reportedly damaged a 36-year-old Coalport woman’s driver’s side window on her 2009 Kia Sportage. Damage is estimated at $500.
