- Police reported a found license plate; the owner was contacted by police.
- Police were dispatched to the Clearfield – Shawville Highway for an intoxicated male who didn’t want to comply with orders to leave the property. The male left when officers were summoned.
- Police were called to a traffic hazard at 700 River Road.
- Police were dispatched for an operator of a reported yellow pick-up truck who was stealing guiderail posts along the Old Erie Pike. Officers responded within minutes but the vehicle had left the area. Two posts were observed to be missing.
- Police were called to collect additional information about a previous incident that’s under investigation.
- Police reported an attempted fraud during which a local resident was contacted by a company, claiming to have a warrant for a relative. The caller indicated it could be satisfied with a cash payment. No warrant was found to exist, however. Residents are cautioned not to provide any financial information until they’ve verified the legitimacy of the caller.
- Police were called to check the welfare of a minor child. Officers found that the child and his mother moved to another jurisdiction and provided the information to the caller.
- Police were called to a traffic complaint on state Route 879. Officers located a suspect vehicle with the driver operating under an expired registration.
- Police are currently investigating an incident of criminal trespass. The investigation is ongoing at this time.
- Police responded to a complaint of an intoxicated male who was causing a disturbance at Sheetz.
- Police located two males who were walking on state Route 879 near Industrial Park Road. One male was found to be highly intoxicated and was asked for his identification. The male provided false information to police and was arrested.
- Police received a found purse; the owner was known to police. The purse will be returned.
