- Police were dispatched to the first block of East Garfield Avenue for a domestic. Officers found that a man and his estranged wife were arguing over property. They were advised that it was a civil matter.
- Officers were dispatched to the first block of West Long Avenue for a report of burglary. Through their investigation, officers were able to locate the property and money that was stolen from the apartment. The alleged victim refused to assist in the prosecution when he learned the theft was committed by a friend.
- Police were called to the 200 block of West Long Avenue. A 19-year-old man reported that he was struck in the face several times by a 44-year-old man. The younger man did not need medical treatment. The investigation continues.
March 13, 2011
- Officers were called to a residence on Grove Place for a report of a disturbance. Officers arrested an 18-year-old woman for underage drinking.
- Police are investigating the theft of a bycicle from the 300 block of West Long Avenue.
- Charles Kniff, 43 of Dubois, was arrested on East Scribner Avenue for violating a protection from abuse order. He was arraigned and placed in Clearfield County Jail.
- Officers were called to the 400 block of Knarr Street for a report of a domestic disturbance involving a mother and daughter. No charges were filed.
March 14, 2011
- Police were called to the railroad tracks at DuBois Street for a one-vehicle accident. A 2003 Geo Tracker struck the railroad gate, causing the vehicle to become disabled. The driver then fled the scene. Officers later identified the driver as a 41-year-old Punxsutawney man. He will be charged.
- Police were called to DRMC-West ER for a report of a patient giving the staff a hard time. Officers handled the situation without making an arrest.
- Police were called tot he 100 block of Quarry Avenue for a domestic between a man and his girlfriend. The pair were having an argument.
- Officers investigated a report of criminal mischief to a vehicle parked at a local business. The vehicle appeared to have been keyed.
March 15, 2011
- Police conducted a traffic detail, targeting aggressive drivers. Thirteen citations were issued for various vehicle code violations.
