During an upgrade Tuesday evening, Atlantic Broadband experienced a configuration change to DNS servers resulting in a number of subscribers being unable to access gantnews.com.
According to a spokesperson at the Johnstown office, Atlantic Broadband engineers are working diligently to correct the issue and expect a complete resolve within 24 hours. In the meantime, local customers may take the following steps outlined by Atlantic Broadband to access gantnews.com immediately.
1) If you have a router, please unplug the power cord for 30 seconds, plug it back in, wait 60 seconds and try the website again.
2) If you do not have a router, open a command window (with administrator privleges) and type the command “ipconfig /flushdns” and then reboot the computer.
3) If you are still unable to access the site, please call HSI Technical Support at Atlantic Broadband for assistance at the number printed on your bill (preferred) or 1-888-536-9600.
