Tickets Still Available for RSVP Pancake Breakfast

CLEARFIELD – The Retired and Senior Volunteer Program of Clearfield County will be holding its 21st Annual Pancake and Sausage Breakfast 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 16 at the Knights of Columbus building in Clearfield. Tickets are still available and can be purchased now or at the door.

According to Donna English, RSVP project director, “For this fundraiser, we have individuals from the RSVP Advisory Council, various businesses, staff, volunteers and other service clubs who help us with flipping pancakes, making deliveries to businesses and waiting on tables.  I think those stopping by for breakfast will enjoy breakfast and meeting our hardworking volunteers.”

The pancake and sausage breakfast is the main fundraiser for RSVP each year.  The money goes toward volunteer support and meeting the local match for RSVP’s federal grant.  The support from the community has been wonderful in the past and staff hopes that the community will support the effort again this year, a press release issued by RSVP said.  By supporting RSVP, individuals are also supporting the RSVP volunteers who assist over 70 non-profit and proprietary healthcare organizations in Clearfield County.

Tickets are available by calling 765-2226 or 1-800-225-8571 or they may be purchased at the door on the morning of the breakfast.  The cost for each ticket is $4.

RSVP is sponsored and partially funded by the Clearfield County Area Agency on Aging Inc.  Additional funding is provided by the Corporation for National and Community Service, the Clearfield and DuBois Area United Way agencies, memorials and individual contributions.
