PA Lottery: Three Tickets Split Record Treasure Hunt Jackpot

MIDDLETOWN – Three winning Treasure Hunt tickets will share a prize of $221,932.50, the largest jackpot since the Pennsylvania Lottery introduced the game in May 2007.

Each of the following retailers sold a jackpot-winning ticket that matched all five numbers drawn, 01-05-14-17-19, in the March 10 drawing:

– Hamburg Valero, 600 S. Fourth St., Hamburg, Berks County;

– Sunoco, 2304 MacArthur Road, Whitehall, Lehigh County; and

– Shop ‘n Save, 1020 Latrobe Thirty Plaza, Latrobe, Westmoreland County.

Each winner will receive $73,977.50, less 25-percent federal withholding.

Starting at $10,000, the Treasure Hunt jackpot grew over eight drawings. Previously, the Nov. 9, 2008, drawing held the record for the largest jackpot of $191,919.

Treasure Hunt is the only Pennsylvania Lottery game drawn exclusively at mid-day.

Lottery officials cannot confirm the identities of the jackpot winners until the prizes are claimed and tickets are validated. Treasure Hunt winners have one year from the drawing date to claim prizes.

The Lottery encourages the holders of the winning tickets to sign the back of their tickets, call the Lottery at 717-702-8146 and file claims at Lottery headquarters in Middletown, Dauphin County, or at any of the Lottery’s seven area offices.

Claims may be filed at headquarters Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., and from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at area offices.
