RIDGWAY – Police have arrested two men believed to have taken part in a camp robbery spree that occurred late last year and into early this year.
Daniel A. Aiello of St. Marys and Mark Paul Kimes Aiello, 18 of Hazel Hurst, each face 66 counts of burglary, 66 counts of criminal conspiracy to commit burglary, 32 counts of theft by unlawful taking and 66 counts of criminal mischief.
According to police the burglaries occurred at multiple camps between Nov. 15, 2010 and Jan. 15, 2011 in Benezette, Fox, Jones and Highland Townships in Elk County.
Both men were arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Alvin H. Brown in Emporium and then placed in Elk County Jail in lieu of $25,000 bail.
