- A 17-year-old boy pulled out of Mt. Run Road and hit an embankment, causing his truck to overturn and back to rest on its wheels. No injuries were reported.
- A 26-year-old South Main Street woman was waiting to turn into her residence when her vehicle was struck from behind by an unknown woman. the woman stopped to make sure she was okay, then left without exchanging information.
March 5, 2011
- Officers received a report of a vehicle hitting a structure on Smithfield Street, causing major damage, then leaving the scene. While investigating, officers received a report of an accident on Smith Road in Brady Township. It was determined the driver, a 28-year-old Scribner Avenue man, was the same one who hit the structure on Smithfield Street. The driver appeared intoxicated and was taken to DRMC for a blood draw. It was also determined that his license was suspended due to DUI and that he was on probation. He was transported to CCJ.
- A man reported a 29-year-old DuBois woman at the Blinker Sheetz who appeared to be intoxicated. Officers located her, and she failed a field sobriety test. She was transported to DRMC for a blood draw.
- A minor accident occurred in the DuBois Mall parking lot, near the movie theatre. No injuries were reported.
- Employees of Edgewood Family Fun Center reported receiving a counterfeit $10 bill.
March 6, 2011
- While an officer was traveling on Oklahoma-Salem Road, a vehicle driven by a 41-year-old DuBois man traveled into the officer’s lane, almost hitting the police vehicle. When the man was stopped, he appeared intoxicated. He refused to perform a field sobriety test and was taken to DRMC for a blood draw.
- A 20-year-old Penfield man was caught by Wal-Mart employees attempting to steal Sony speakers valued at $38. Officers interviewed him and determined that he was intoxicated and possibly under the influence of other illegal substances. When he was asked to empty his pockets, a bottle of pills was discovered. It was also determined that he was hiding a Cobra radar detector, valued at $39.96.
- A 19-year-old Brockway man lost control of his vehicle on US Route 219 near Minns Gas, causing him to travel off the road and into the marsh. No injuries were reported.
- Police responded to Hanes Drive for a domestic between a mother and daughter. Officers handled without incident.
- A vehicle driven by a 51-year-old DuBois woman pulled into the path of a vehicle driven by a 25-year-old Clearfield man in the McDonald’s parking lot. No injuries were reported.

- A 46-year-old Charleroi man reported being assaulted by a known 34-year-old Belle Vernon man at the Holiday Inn Express. The Belle Vernon man was charged with harassment.
