Robert Louis Steinbeiser, Jr., age 60 of Hepburn Road in DuBois died March 8, 2011 at his residence.
He was born on Jan. 3, 1951 in Altoona, PA. He was the son of the late Robert L. & Thelma (McGinnis) Steinbeiser, Sr.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps as a Lance Corporal during the Vietnam War.
He made his home with his long-time companion, Patricia Roy. She survives.
He was a self employed contractor.
He was a member of the James J. Patterson Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 813, the George D. Montgomery American Legion Post 17, Disabled American Veterans, the Sandy Township Fireman’s Club, the DuBois Area Honor Guard, and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Honor Guard.
He is survived by his brothers, Steven L. Steinbeiser of Falls Creek, PA and Kenneth Steinbeiser of Altoona, PA.
There will be no public visitation.
Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Goble Baronick Funeral Home in DuBois.
