Helen Elizabeth Bednarchik, 96, of Ramey, passed away at 10:35 a.m., March 7, 2011 at Mt. Laurel Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Clearfield.
Miss. Bednarchik was born in Ramey on Aug. 11, 1914, a daughter of the late Michael and Mary (Chismar) Bednarchik.
She was a parishioner of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Ramey and a member of the Catholic Daughters of the America’s, St. Victoria Court # 646, Houtzdale.
Miss. Bednarchik had been employed at the former General Cigar Plant of Philipsburg.
She is survived by a sister-in-law, Margaret Shedlock Bednarchik of Moon Township, PA and a number of nieces and nephews.
Miss. Bednarchik was the last of her generation, having been preceded in death by three brothers, Edward, John and Paul Bednarchik and a sister, Josephine Marie Bednarchik.
Friends will be received on March 15, from 9-10:30 a.m. at the Kruise Funeral Home, Inc, Ramey.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on March 15, at 11:00 a.m. in Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Ramey, with Fr. Zab Amar as celebrant. Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Brisbin.
