- On Monday, officers responded to a Kilmer Road residence for a reported domestic dispute. The residents were reportedly engaging in a verbal dispute over a friend of one of the female residents being there. Officers handled the situation without further incident.
- A DuBois man reported being called to two a vehicle that was involved in an accident on South Main Street on Tuesday. A Punxsutawney man lost control of his vehicle, causing it to leave the roadway and damage several mailboxes. The car sustained minor damage, and the operator left his information with the homeowners.
- While parked on Sher De Lin Road with several friends on Tuesday, a 24-year-old Hanes Drive man reported that a known 19-year-old Penfield man approached the vehicle and assaulted him. The accused also reportedly took his money and identification. The incident is under investigation.
- A 45-year-old DuBois man was found asleep in his running vehicle at the entrance of the Highland Elementary School on Tuesday. Officers determined that he had been drinking. After failing several field sobriety tests, the man was taken to the DuBois Regional Medical Center for a legal blood draw. Charges are currently pending.
