Helen C. Radzavich, age 91 of West Washington Ave. in DuBois, PA died Feb. 27, 2011 at the DuBois Nursing Home.
She was born on Nov. 5, 1919 in Scranton, PA. She was the daughter of the late Simon & Hannah (Bartkevicius) Glashauskas.
On Nov. 22, 1947, she married Albert J. Radzavich. He preceded her in death on February 23, 1984.
She was a homemaker.
She was a member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church. She was a former Lithuanian Independence Club Ladies Auxiliary member.
She is survived by one daughter, Gerri Burrs (Tom) of Bradford, PA and one son, Robert “Scubby” Radzavich (Sharie) of Bradford, PA, four grandchildren (Andy Radzavich, Janelle Radzavich, Neil Burrs, and Ashlee Burrs) and one great grandchild (Lucas Burrs).
She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, three sisters, Martha Kutsel, Isabel Mitskavich and Magdaline Good and four brothers, Steven, Joseph, Anthony and Valentine Glashauskas.
Visitation will be held on March 2 from 8:30 a.m. until 9:45 a.m. from the Goble Baronick Funeral Home.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on March 2 at 10 a.m. from St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church with Fr. David Foradori as celebrant.
Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.
