Carolyn K. “Kay” Abrahamson, age 71, of William Penn Ave. in DuBois, PA died on Feb. 7, 2011 at her residence.
She was born on June 12, 1939 in Brookville, PA. She was the daughter of the late Fred E. & Sarah V. (Kroh) Stewart.
She was a graduate of Brockway Area High School Class of 1957.
On May 25, 1957, she married Kenneth E. Abrahamson. He survives.
She was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking and spending time with her grandchildren.
She was a member of St. Tobias Roman Catholic Church in Brockway, PA.
She is survived by three daughters, Karen L. Abrahamson of Duncansville, PA, Kathy L. Elieff of Newport Coast, CA and Krista L. Kennedy and her husband, Chuck of Brockway, PA and one son, Kenneth L. Abrahamson of Brockway, PA. She is also survived by one sister, Jane Keenen and her husband, Larry of Banning, CA and three grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Sidney Stewart.
There will be a private viewing and a private funeral service from the Goble Baronick Funeral Home with Msgr. Charles Kaza officiating.
Interment will be in St. Tobias Cemetery in Brockway, PA.
