DUBOIS — The Clearfield Bison wrestling team will face off against the DuBois Beavers on Saturday at 2:00 p.m. at DuBois Area High School in the District 9 AAA Team Duals final.
The Bisons (9-2) reached the final by the virtue of receiving the number one seed in the three-team tourney. DuBois (9-3), the number three seed, reached the finals by beating the number two seed St. Marys on Thursday night by a score of 40-25.
Clearfield beat DuBois on the Bison home mat in the opening match of the season 43-23 back on December 14.
DuBois is riding an eight match win streak in to the finals on Saturday. The winner of the match will advance to the PIAA State Dual Championships, which begin Thursday in Hershey.
Clearfield is led by Derek Danver (22-5) at 171, Shane Peters (21-2) at 103, Christian Stone (21-2) at 112, Cliff Hill (16-3) at 215, Nolan Barger (19-6) at 130, and Dylan Graham (17-8) at 119.
DuBois is led by Geno Morelli (22-4) at 152, Garrett Brown (21-4) at 119, Joe Morrison (12-1, with his only loss to Danver) at 171, Tom Sleigh (19-8) at 135, Landon Hanna (17-4) at 189, and Bryce Swauger(17-8) at 103.
The AA Finals will immediately follow the AAA match.
