DUBOIS – Downtown DuBois has a beautiful, new piece of large-scale art. A new art installation recently took place at Stew’s Brew Coffeehouse on Brady Street. The piece was commissioned by owner Julie Stewart who worked with artist Jeanie Lingenfelter of Charlotte’s Pearls – 814-603-2957, pictured above. The piece is a hand-painted rendition of the logo done on wood. Stewart noted that downtown DuBois is trying to incorporate art into as many areas as possible, both indoors and out. The coffeehouse currently has pottery and metal-work available for sale by local artists.
