Mona Marie (Rodkey) Martin, 85, of Brisbin, passed away Jan. 22, 2011 at her residence.
She was born Aug. 7, 1925 in Brisbin, a daughter of the late William H. and Elsie N. (Weaver) Rodkey. She was Protestant by faith and was a graduate of the former Houtzdale High School.
Mrs. Martin worked as a wrapper at the former General Cigar Plant in Philipsburg.
On Dec. 7, 1947 in the Brisbin Baptist Church she married Arthur K. Martin, he preceded her in death on April 6, 1990.
She is survived by a sister, Shirley R. Way of Morrisdale and a number of nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents and husband, Mrs. Martin was preceded in death by a brother, William W. Rodkey and an infant sister, Mary A. Rodkey.
Friends will be received on Jan. 31, from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. at the Kruise Funeral Home, Inc. Ramey.
Funeral Services will be held on Jan. 31, at 11:00 a.m. in the Kruise Funeral Home, Inc Ramey with Pastor Mark Melhorn officiating.
