Early Morning Accident Leaves Two Injured

GRAMPIAN – A two-vehicle accident early Thursday morning left two people suffering from major injuries.

According to the state police in Clearfield, the accident occurred at 12:20 a.m. on the Curwensville-Grampian Highway in Pike Township. Jon M. Boyer of Grampian was traveling east and Pamela G. Adkins of Lajose was traveling west. Police said Boyer crossed the center line and into the path of Adkins, where they impacted head-on.

Police were assisted at the scene by Curwensville and Clearfield EMS. Both Boyer and Adkins were reported to have suffered major injuries.

The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
