- Police responded to a two vehicle accident on Interstate 80, Washington Township, Jefferson County on Saturday. According to the report, Alexander Ostrom, 22, of Gambier, OH was traveling westbound when he attemped to move into the passing lane and lost control. The Ostrom vhicle slid sideways and struck the end of the guide rail on the left side of the roadway and then spun counter-clockwise sliding back across the roadway, then striking the right side of a vehicle operated by Craig Kerr of Swanton OH. No injuries were reported. Police were assisted at the scene by the Falls Creek Fire Department.
- Police responded to a single vehicle accident on I-80, Sandy Township, Clearfield County on Saturday. A vehicle operated by a Beaver Falls man attempted to move into the passing lane when he lost control of his vehicle, slid across the right side of the roadway and struck a guide rail. There were no injuries. Police were assisted at the scen by Sandy Township Fire Department, Falls Creek Fire Department, DuBois EMS, and Zimmerman Towing.
