Wallace H. Sisco Jr., 53, of Sheridan, WY and formerly of New Millport died Thursday at the VA Medical Center in Sheridan, WY.
Born Aug. 27, 1957 in Warwick, NY, he was the son of Wallace H. Sisco Sr. and Evelyn E. (Harris) McConnell. He was Baptist by faith.
Mr. Sisco worked as a wrangler in the Sheridan, WY Stockyards and was a United States Marine Corp Veteran.
He’s survived by his father of Monessen; his mother and stepfather, Bruce McConnell of Reynoldsville.
Also surviving are four siblings, Evelyn Dennis and her husband, Stan of Carnwath; Lawrence Sisco of Reynoldsville; Wanda Sullivan and her husband, Jim and Jerrold Sisco, both of DuBois as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Sandy Dennis and one brother, John Sisco.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home Inc. of Curwensville, with Pastor Kevin Orndorff officiating. Interment will be in the Salem Cemetery, DuBois.
Friends will be received from 2 – 4 p.m. and 6 – 8 p.m. Tuesday and from 10 a.m. until the hour of services Wednesday at the funeral home.
The family suggests contributions be made to either the Temple Baptist Church, Lincoln Drive, DuBois, PA 15801, or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
