Obituary Notice: Eric A. “Rick” Rheinbolt

Eric A. “Rick” Rheinbolt, 49, of Brockport died Saturday at the DuBois Regional Medical Center.

Born on April 1, 1961 in Shelby, OH, he was the son of the late Larry D. Rheinbolt and Esther L. Coldwell. He was a Christian man of honor who was always willing to help any of his family and friends in need. His favorite bible verse, and the one that saved his life, was John 3:16.

Mr. Rheinbolt was a graduate of the DuBois Area School District and worked at Kohlhepp’s True Value Hardware Block Plant for 34 years.  He was an avid New England Patriots fan and NASCAR fan, especially of Mark Martin. He belonged to DNR Divers in Brockway.

His father preceded him in death; his mother survives and lives in DuBois. He was married to Kathryn Radzavich, who survives.

Mr. Rheinbolt is survived by five children, Philip Rheinbolt of Washington, IN; Richard Runyan of Brockway; David Copenhaver and his wife, Amy of Brockway; Tracey McAllister and her husband, David of DuBois; and Seanna Sanford of Atlanta, NY.

In addition, he’s survived by three brothers, Larry Ferguson and his wife,  Lisa of DuBois; Scott Ferguson and his wife, Shari of DuBois; and Grant Ferguson of Curwensville; three sisters, Donna Sunderlin and her husband, Kevin of DuBois; Jennifer Ferguson of Altoona; and Mary Runyon and her husband, Robert, Jr. of DuBois; and 13 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father and his stepfather, Carl L. Ferguson; twin sons, Charles and Clyde Rheinbolt; one son, Eric A. Rheinbolt Jr.; one sister, Esther Frampton; and one brother, Todd Frampton.

Visitation will be held from 2 – 4 p.m. and 7 – 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Goble-Baronick Funeral Home, Inc.

A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Treasure Lake Church, with Pastor Jack Martin and Pastor Dick Whitaker co-officiating. Burial will follow in Morningside Cemetery.
