Donald E. Wilson, Age 80 of Spring Ave., DuBois, PA; died Jan. 02, 2011 at the DuBois Nursing Home.
Born on Feb. 2, 1930 in Big Run, PA, he was the son of the late Cordray & Inez (Hottel) Wilson.
On April 28, 1952, he married Evelyn (Hudak) Wilson. She survives.
He was a veteran of the Korean War having served as a Second Lieutenant in the United States Army, serving with the Army Corps of Engineers.
He was the Quality Assurance Manager of Symco Inc. in Sykesville for 18 years. He then retired as the Plant Manager of Clearfield Powered Metals.
He was a member of the George D. Montgomery American Legion Post 17. He enjoyed golfing and was an avid Penn state Football fan.
He is survived by two sons (David E. Wilson and his wife Deborah of DuBois, PA, and William E. Wilson and his wife Linda of Broadview Heights, OH) and five grandchildren (Samuel Wilson, Katarina Wilson, Daniel Wilson, Jennifer Mahnen, and William Wilson).
He was the last surviving member of his immediate family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother (Robert Wilson).
Visitation will be held on Jan. 4, 2011 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. at the Goble-Baronick Funeral Home.
A funeral service will be held on Jan. 5, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. from the Goble-Baronick Funeral Home with the Rev. Sarah Ott officiating.
Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery , Punxsutawney.
