- A 55-year-old Glen Hope man was arrested for driving under the influence after being involved in an accident at 9:50 pm. Wednesday on state Route 53 in Irvona Borough. The man was traveling on SR 53, when he lost control of his pickup truck. His truck then traveled off the roadway, down an embankment and came to rest on its side, impacting with a tree. Police determined the driver was under the influence of alcohol and arrested him.
