Amy J. Warholak, age 51 of Sunset Lake Road in Rockton, PA died Dec. 26, 2010 at the Altoona Regional Trauma Center as the result of injuries sustained from an automobile accident.
She was born on April 20, 1959 in DuBois, PA. She was the daughter of James H. and Ethel L. (King) Johnston. Her mother survives and lives in DuBois, PA.
On Aug. 24, 1994, she married George J. Warholak. He survives. She was a registered nurse working in the cardiovascular intensive care unit at the DuBois Regional Medical Center.
She was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church. She was also a member of Open Range 4-H where she was an assistant leader. She enjoyed taking care of and riding horses.
She is survived by her children, James A. Warholak of DuBois, PA, Christina J. Warholak of DuBois, PA, Jesta M. Warholak of Rockton, PA and Jodalynn M. Warholak of Rockton, PA, one brother, James H. Johnston of DuBois, PA and two sisters, Ellen N. Reiter and her husband, Kurt of DuBois, PA and Kathleen A. Harvey and her husband Bruce of Falls Creek, PA, and one grandchild, Serenity J. Nedza.
She was preceded in death by her father and one sister, Vicki Loddesol. Friends will be received on Wednesday, Dec. 29 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Goble Baronick Funeral Home.
A Scriptural Wake Service will be held on Wednesday evening at 8:45 p.m. from the funeral home.
A private funeral service will be held on Dec. 30 from the funeral home with Fr. Marc Stockton officiating.
