John W. Lansberry, Sr. age 59, of Hyde passed away on Sunday, December 26, 2010 at his residence.
Born January 28, 1951 he was the son of the late Harold and Regina Lansberry.
He had worked for Butler Trucking Company and the Kwik-Fill in Philipsburg.
Mr. Lansberry also served in the U.S. Marine Corps and was a Veteran of the Vietnam War.
In 1986 he wed Joan L. Poorman who survives. He is also survived by four daughters, Sherry Kephart and her husband Brian of Osceola Mills, Tonya Foster and her husband Dennis of Kylertown, Irene Clark of Dover, DE, Anna Wriglesworth of Osceola Mills; two sons, John W. Lansberry, Jr. and his wife Kim of Grampian, Clayton Lansberry of Philipsburg, two sisters, Bertha Lansberry of Philipsburg, Linda Lansberry of Philipsburg; a brother, David Lansberry of Winnfield, LA; nineteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
A public memorial service will be held on Wednesday, December 29, 2010 at 11 a.m. at the Ohio United Methodist Church, Osceola Mills with the Pastor Donald Smith officiating.
The Heath Funeral Home, Osceola Mills is in charge of the arrangements.
