Familiar Face Takes Up Fire Chief Position in Sandy Township

DUBOIS – Sandy Township will see the return of a previous fire chief to the position as the reins are passed on again.

Bob Wilson, current fire chief, will step down at the start of the new calendar year.  Steve Dunlap will replace him in this role.

Dunlap served as a fire chief a decade a year ago in 2001 and 2002.  Township supervisors were uniform in seeing Wilson off after a good term, and welcoming Dunlap back for another two years.
