Armed Robbery in Halfmoon Township Under Investigation

STORMSTOWN – Brother’s Pizza in Stormstown, Halfmoon Township was robbed a gun point Monday at approximately 8:20 p.m.

State Police in Philipsburg reported that an unknown man entered the establishment brandishing a handgun. The man demanded money, and the employee handed over an undetermine amount. The gunman then fled the store on foot in a southerly direction.

The man was described as being approxamitely 5 feet, 10 ten inches tall and 160 pounds, and wearing a grayish hooded sweatshirt with the hood up, dark colored sweatpants, a white colored hockey-type mask, dark gloves and possibly white colored sneakers.

Police obtained information from a witness who indicated that the man fled on foot to the area of Houtz Lane then got into a red or maroon two door coupe which traveled northbound on state Route 550 towards State College.
