Police are looking for a truck with a lighted red rear hitch that ran a car off the roadway Wednesday morning at 6:19 a.m. on US Route 322 near Old Tram Road.
A Pennsylvania state trooper from Hollidaysburg was traveling west on US Route 322 when the pickup truck entered the westbound lane. The trooper swerved to avoid the pickup truck and struck a utility pole. The trooper was not injured.
The driver of the pickup truck continued eastbound without stopping. Hope Fire Company, Moshannon Valley EMS, and Penelec was also dispatched to the scene.
