Obituary Notice: Paul J. Renosky

Paul J. Renosky, Age 79 of South Main St, DuBois, PA died December 12, 2010 at his residence. 

Born on May 26, 1931 in Beyer, PA, he was the son of the late Joseph & Mary (Chronowski) Renosky.

On Sept. 25, 1954, he married Tillie (Rehar) Renosky, she survives. 

He was a staff sergeant in the United States Air Force serving as a radio operator in the Korean War. 

He worked as a certified welder in the furnace department of the Brockway Glass Company for 24 years.  He worked for the Operating Engineers Construction Industry Local 66 in Pittsburgh, PA. 

He was a 1949 graduate of the Marion Center High School. 

He was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church where he was very active in church affairs, belonging to the Holy Name Society.  He enjoyed making rosaries and especially liked working for the yearly St. Michael’s Polish Festival.

He was a member of the Blue Army World Apostolate of Fatima, was a member of the Shannock Valley Post 6555 Veterans of Foreign Wars in Sagamore, PA; and was a member of the George D. Montgomery American Legion Post 17 in DuBois, PA,   He enjoyed hunting and was an avid fisherman who enjoyed tying flies.  He enjoyed spending his time with his family, and was a member of the Allegheny Mountain Trout Unlimited Chapter 36. 

He is survived by a son ( Richard Renosky of DuBois, PA), 4 daughters ( Paula Read & husband David of Indiana, PA; Christine Bell of Enola, PA; Diane Kessler & husband Gregory of Marysville, PA; and Darlene Toffry  and husband Robert of Abingdon, MD) a brother (Michael Renosky of Home, PA) and 6 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his 5 brothers (John, Clemence, Andrew, Frank, & Stanly Renosky), and Infant brother (Peter Renosky) and 3 sisters ( Kathryn Gromatski, Mary Salerno, & Ann Renosky)

Visitation will be held on December 14 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. from the Goble-Baronick Funeral Home.

The rosary will be prayed on Tuesday afternoon at 1:45 p.m. by the members of the St. Michael Holy Name Society. 

A scriptural wake service will be prayed on Tuesday evening at 7:30 p.m. from the funeral home.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Dec. 15 at 10 a.m. from St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church with Fr. David Faoradori as celebrant. 

Burial will follow in St. Michael Cemetery.
