CLEARFIELD – Clearfield County District Attorney, William A. Shaw, Jr., announced Clearfield County’s Fugitive of the Week for the week of Dec. 13, 2010. Shaw identified the Fugitive as Henry L. Cutler, age 20, of Daisy Street, Clearfield, Pennsylvania.
Shaw stated that Cutler is wanted in three separate cases for failure to appear at Sentencing Court on Dec. 7, 2010.
On Oct. 14, 2009, Assistant Chief Vince McGinnis of the Clearfield Borough Police Department, filed a Criminal Complaint charging Cutler with: 1) statutory sexual assault, F2; 2) aggravated indecent assault, F2; and 3) indecent assault, M2.
An affidavit of probable cause filed by McGinnis states that on Aug. 14, 2009, Clearfield County Children Youth and Family Services made a referral to the Clearfield Borough Police Department, alleging that Cutler had inappropriate sexual contact with the victim, a 14-year-old girl. Clearfield Police met with the victim and she related that Cutler had inappropriate sexual contact with her in January of 2009.
A preliminary hearing was held on Dec. 2, 2009, at which time all charges were held to court.
In a separate case, McGinnis filed a Criminal Complaint on Oct. 5, 2009, charging Cutler with: 1)access device fraud, M1, 4 Counts; 2) identity theft, M1, 2 Counts; 3) theft by unlawful taking or disposition, M3, 4 Counts; 4) criminal conspiracy to commit theft by unlawful taking or disposition, M3, 4 Counts; and 5) receiving stolen property, M3, 4 Counts.
An affidavit of probable cause filed by McGinnis states that on Sept. 11, 2009, police received a complaint of a theft of a wallet and cell phone from the victim’s vehicle. The victim relayed that her wallet contained her driver’s license, credit card, bank card, and approximately $100.00 in U.S. currency. Police learned that both the victim’s credit card and bank card were attempted to be used at County National Bank in Clearfield. Video surveillance showed Cutler and another known individual attempting to use both of the victim’s cards.
A preliminary hearing was held on December 2, 2009, at which time all charges were held to court.
In a separate case, McGinnis filed a criminal complaint on Oct. 14, 2009, charging Cutler with: 1) theft By unlawful taking or disposition, M2; and 2) receiving stolen property, M2.
An affidavit of probable cause filed by McGinnis states that on Oct. 7, 2009, the Clearfield Borough Police received a complaint of theft from a Clearfield resident. The victim relayed that Cutler has taken a mobile phone and a pair of hiking boots belonging to the victim’s son.
A preliminary hearing was held on Dec. 2, 2009, at which time all charges were held to court.
On Dec. 7, 2010, Cutler failed to appear for all three cases at sentencing court and a warrant was issued for his arrest.
