Reward Offered in White Deer Shooting

DUBOIS – Officials are searching for leads in the shooting death of a white deer.

The deer, White Deer, belonged to Dr. Jeffrey Rice and was penned at the Roadside Cafe. The deer was found on Nov. 30 by one of Rice’s employees. According to his office, the deer’s father was shot about three years ago in the same enclosure.

Rice is offering a $3,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the person(s) responsible for the shooting. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Sandy Township Police Department or Clearfield County Control.
