- Larry Earl Johns, a 64-year-old man from Port Matilta, was arrested for simple assault and harassment on Tuesday morning. Johns used a walking stick to strike a 38-year-old Port Matilda man in the leg and side. When a 32-year-old woman tried to intervene, Johns pushed her against the wall. Johns was arraigned by Magisterial District Judge Dutchcot and bail was set at $25,000.00 straight
