- A State College man was charged with a game law violation on Saturday at 5:11 pm for shooting and killing a deer in the median of Interstate 80 at the 107 mile marker.
- A grave stone was damaged at the Blessed Virgin Mary Cemetery on Soldier Road, Winslow Township.
- Police are investigating a complaint of bad checks. A known woman passed a bad check to Zimmerman Towing on US Route 219 for payment of towing services.
- A 19-year-old man from Orient, OH suffered severe injuries in an accident on I-80 Sunday at 12:05 p.m. The man was traveling west on I-80 in a heavy snow squall. He lost control of his vehicle, slid off the roadway, through the media and into the East Bound lanes where he struck, head-on, the rear tires of a tractor trailer traveling eastbound. The man was transported to the Brookville Hospital and later transferred to UPMC Presbyterian Hospital. Three passengers in his vehicle also received minor injuries. The driver of the tractor trailer and his passenger were not injured. Pine Creek and Corsica fire departments and Jefferson County EMS and Penn Dot were also dispatched to the scene of the accident.
- Police investigated a single vehicle accident on US Route 219 in Snyder Township. A 59-year-old Brockway man was not injured in the accident. His vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree.
- There were no injuries in a two vehicle accident of I-80 at the 74 mile marker on Sunday at 12:42 pm. A 21-year old Strattanville man was traveling eastbound and lost control of his vehicle due to snow on the roadway. His vehicle slid of the roadway into the median and struck a vehicle that slid off the roadway approximately 10 minutes earlier and was disabled. The occupants of the disabled vehicle were standing outside of their vehicle at the time of the accident and were not injured.
