Clearfield – Motorists travelling on Route 3014 (Atherton Street) in State College, may encounter lane restrictions the week of Dec. 6. Weather permitting, lane closures next week are expected to include:
Tuesday, Dec. 7:
• Intersection of Atherton and Park Avenue
Monday, Wednesday and Thursday (Dec. 6, 8, and 9):
• From the intersection of Atherton and Valley Vista Drive to the intersection of Atherton and Beaver Avenue
All restrictions will occur between the hours of 9am and 3pm.
The work is part of a $1.4 million project to link 17 traffic signals in Patton, Ferguson and College townships and State College Borough. In addition to connecting signals and installing signs, the contractor will install other components to monitor traffic flow.
