Donna K. Bortzer, Age 65, Oliver Lane, Troutville, died unexpectedly on Dec. 1, 2010 at her residence.
Born on March 14, 1945 in Corry, PA, she was the daughter of Willis J. Kinney & Ruth (Richards) Kinney Wells. Her father preceded her in death, her mothers survives and lives in Spartansburg, PA.
On June 30, 1964, she married Lloyd R. Bortzer. He preceded her in death on Nov. 10, 2006.
She was a homemaker and enjoyed baking, gardening, and being in the outdoors.
She is survived by a son (Gary Bortzer and his wife Tammy of Troutville, PA), a daughter (Sue Bonante and her husband Mike of Sykesville, PA), a granddaughter (Calais Clark of Sykesville, PA) two brothers (Norman Kinney and his wife Marsha of Nashville, MI,; and Greg Kinney of Butler, PA) and four sisters (Beverly Miller and her husband Everett of Spartansburg, PA; Jane Fibelstad and her husband Paul of Spirit Lake, Iowa; Yvonne Archer and her husband Paul of Conroe, TX; and Billie McKee of Kane, PA).
She was preceded in death by her father, and two sisters (Norma Northrop & Becky Reedy)
Visitation will be held on Sunday, Dec. 5 from noon until 4 p.m. at the Goble-Baronick Funeral Home.
A funeral service will be held on Dec. 5 at 4 p.m. from the Goble-Baronick Funeral Home with Pastor Kenneth Sherwood officiating
Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery, Spartansburg.
Memorials may be placed to the charity of the donor’s choice.
