Evenlyn M. Sharpless, age 85, of Altoona and formerly of Philipsburg passed away at the Bellmeade Manor in Altoona.
Born Tuesday, November 23, 2010 she was the daughter of the late William and Isabell Wilson.
She graduated from the former Philipsburg High School and retired from Charles Navasky & Co.
She is survived by a son, Robert L. Hamaty and his wife Esther of Philipsburg; two sisters, Betty McGonigal of Philipsburg and Jean Zicardo of St. Petersburg, FL; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Sharpless, two brothers and several sisters.
Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.
The Heath Funeral Home, Osceola Mills is in charge of the arrangements.
