Laura Laressa “Sis” Snyder, 82 of Johnstown and formerly West Decatur, passed away on Nov. 21, 2010 at the Golden Living Center in Johnstown.
Born on Feb. 1, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Melva (Richner) Templeton.
She was a member of the New Christian Life Church in Clearfield and a homemaker by trade.
She was wed to second husband Jack Jasper on Oct. 26, 1984 in Clearfield. He preceded her in death on July 15, 1987. Prior to Mr. Jasper, she was wed to first husband Floyd J. Snyder on Oct. 27, 1944 in New Millport. He preceded her in death on July 31, 1983.
She was also preceded in death by her parents and brothers Robert, Henry and Lemuel Templeton.
She is survived by grandchildren Laura A. Bishop and Amanda L. Wisor and one great-grandchild; daughter Claire Mae Wisor and her husband Edward of Morrisville, NC; sisters Twila Coleman of Clearfield and B. Lorraine Jacoby of Osceola Mills; and brothers Fred Templeton and his wife Sharon of Philipsburg and Walter Templeton and his wife Carol of West Decatur.
Services will be held on Nov. 24 at 1 p.m. at the Heath Funeral Home in Osceola Mills with the Pastor Charles Jay officiating. Burial will be at the Mt. Zion Cemetery, RD Olanta. Visitation will be held on Nov. 24 from 11 a.m. until the time of the funeral, at the funeral home.
