PENFIELD – The state police in Penfield are asking for the public’s help in finding a suspect involved in a convenience store robbery.
According to police, at 4:03 a.m. this morning, the Nittany Minitmart was the site of an armed robbery. Police said an unknown male entered the store and brandished a knife at the clerk. The male threatened the clerk and demanded money. The male was provided with $183 from the register, then fled the scene on foot.
He is described as being about 5 feet, 8 inches tall, 160 pounds and was wearing camoflage hunting pants, a navy blue hoodie, a camoflage facemask, sunglasses and black or brown gloves.
