- Police reported an incident of burglary that occurred sometime between 10:30 a.m. Oct. 31 and 5:45 p.m. Saturday on South Eagle Valley Road in Worth Township, Centre County. Someone entered a Port Matilda man’s residence on two occasions. The person allegedly entered the man’s portion of a duplex via the attic and removed dollar bills and coins from the kitchen. The person also allegedly used a ladder to enter the man’s residence by opening a window on the second floor and again removed dollar bills and coins from the kitchen. - Police reported an attempted burglary that occurred sometime between 2 p.m. Nov. 2 and 2 p.m. Friday on Water Street in Philipsburg Borough, Centre County. A person(s) reportedly attempted to gain access to the Universal Square building by attempting to break a lock on the garage door. The person(s) then fled the scene.
