- Police reported an incident of theft from a motor vehicle that occurred sometime between 12:30 a.m. and 4 a.m. Nov. 2 at Veolia Environmental Services on state Route 219 in Washington Township, Jefferson County. Someone who operated a newer Volvo truck tractor pulled up to a Veolia garbage truck and reportedly removed 61 gallons of diesel fuel from its tank. The fuel is valued at approximately $200. Video surveillance captured the alleged incident. Police are currently working to enhance the video to assist in the identification of person responsible. - Police reported an incident of theft by unlawful taking that occurred sometime between Oct. 31 and Nov. 1 at a residence on state Route 950 in Winslow Township, Jefferson County. A person(s) arrived and allegedly removed a Western V style plow, which was red in color, from a 43-year-old Falls Creek man’s yard.
