Steven Lee Patton, 41, of Grampian died Monday at his residence.
Born on Jan. 19, 1969 in DuBois, he was the son of Robert Lee and Sharon (Spencer) Patton. They both survive and live in Grampian.
Mr. Patton was a member of the Temple Baptist Church, DuBois, for 17 years and a member of Church of the Brethren in Rockton for the past three years. His favorite Bible verse was Proverbs 3:5.
If you asked Mr. Patton what made him happy, he always said God. He enjoyed attending church services, fishing, family picnics, sports, camping, traveling and the outdoors.
He is also survived by his two brothers, Doug Patton and his wife, Vicki of Rockton and Jason Patton and his wife, Candi of Owings, MD. He’s survived by four nephews, Devin Patton of Rockton; Cannon Patton of Owings, MD; Bryson Patton of Owings, MD; and Chase Thomas of Owings, MD; his maternal grandfather, Robert Spencer of Luthersburg and his paternal grandfather, Robert Patton of Knox.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Irene Spencer and his paternal grandmother, Martha Patton.
There will be visitation from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Wednesday at the Goble Baronick Funeral Home.
A private funeral service will be held on Wednesday, at the funeral home with the Rev. Pastor Randy Spencer officiating. Burial will be in Morningside Cemetery.
