- Police reported an incident of receiving stolen property at 4:20 p.m. Tuesday in a wooded area along Reservoir Road in Winslow Township, Jefferson County. The Pennsylvania Game Commission located a steel safe on the aforementioned roadway. Officials indicated that the safe was reportedly missing the door, and there weren’t any markings on it. The gray steel safe measured 20 inches by 17 inches. Anyone with information is asked to contact the DuBois State Police at 814-371-4652.
- Police reported an incident of propulsion of missiles/criminal mischief at 11:30 a.m. Oct. 23 on Interstate 80 at mile marker 83.6 westbound in Pine Creek Township, Jefferson County. Someone reportedly threw a rock from the north side of I-80 and damaged a passing motor coach bus. Total damage is estimated at $2,000.
