CURWENSVILLE – The Mountain Laurel Kennel Club’s annual pie sale, slated for Nov. 20 at Goodman’s Foodliner in Curwensville, will benefit Orphans of the Storm, helping the organization provide food for its animals in foster care.
The sale will begin at 9 a.m. and continue until the pies are all sold. Pies are priced at $10 and will include a variety of fruit and other selections. Cash donations will also be accepted from non-pie fans.
The kennel club holds the sale each November with the help of the Michaels family, owners of Goodman’s. Recent projects funded by the sale were purchasing a bullet proof vest for K9 Police Officer Zeus, providing animal oxygen masks for Clearfield County’s ambulance services and donating money to seven area food banks to buy pet food.
